Fab Friday

Hi everyone, and happy Friday! This week has gone by pretty quickly, and it was fairly uneventful outside of school and soccer.

one:
Anthropologie has the cutest items ever currently (I mean, they always do, but more so now!). I love that peachy coral color that is on that shirt on the right- so spring!

two:
Last Saturday was a rainy day here. My mom and I went to lunch at a cute cafe (I had a yummy bean soup), and after we popped into Trader Joe's. They always have the best flowers, and I think that these daisies are so pretty!

three:
Last Friday my history class went on a field trip to the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust. The museum was beautiful and our tour guide was very informative. At the end of the tour, we all got to sit and listen to a Holocaust survivor. Ours was Gabriella Karin, and her story was amazing (you can read her story here). She was the cutest lady, and is actually an artist (check out her website here). Hearing her speak was an amazing opportunity and I couldn't leave without getting a picture!

The 3 Purses Every Girl Needs

Hey gals! Happy Thursday- one more day until the weekend. Today I'm sharing the three styles of purses that I think every girl needs.

While this size purse may be too small to carry anything other than the essentials, that's why it's perfect! I love carrying a purse like this to concerts or lunch when I just need my phone, wallet, and chapstick.

I mentioned a few posts ago that I made an exciting purchase at Madewell- here it is! I splurged on this crossbody bag that I know I will use forever. It can hold so much without feeling too heavy or looking too bulky- it's perfect!

Some girls carry around tote style bags on a daily basis, but I just don't have that much to carry typically. I personally love my Longchamp for travel. It makes a great carry on or sleepover bag, and is also water resistant and fold-able! It's incredibly versatile and you can use it for many purposes.

What are your favorite bags to carry?

The Importance of Being Confident

{via]

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be talking about confidence. I'm sure you've heard over and over again the importance of confidence. I'm finally starting to realize just how important it is. When someone is truly confident, that is when I think they look their best. They just look happy and like they could conquer the world. Most of the time "body confidence" or learning to love your body is what is stressed and taught. While this is important, I think that there are other aspects of confidence that are important. Confidence is wearing an outfit that's out of your comfort zone. Confidence is telling someone to check out your blog. Confidence is introducing yourself to someone new. Confidence is trying an activity that you're not the best at. Confidence is loving yourself and everything that makes you yourself. Yes, you can look at other people and admire how they look or how well they can paint, but that shouldn't make you love yourself any less. Stay confident!

Europe 2016

Hey everyone! I'm really excited for today's post. Recently, my family officially decided that we will be going to Europe this summer! My neighbor's getting married in France, and we will be adding a week on to the trip! My family went to Paris and London in December of 2013, so it's been over 2 years. We haven't decided where exactly we will be going, but I've been looking through Pinterest for destinations that look nice. I thought I would share some images of some of the places!

Luxembourg

Tours, France

Colmar, France

Aren't these places just so pretty? I'm so excited for the trip, but it's not for 4 more months!

J. Crew Spring Looks

Hey everyone! I'm so glad to be back after a week-long blogging break. I missed blogging but it was nice to simply focus on school and soccer. Anyways, today I'm sharing a few of my favorite spring looks from J. Crew

Okay, this dress is perfect. I love the stripes, and sleeves are too cute.

This outfit is so simple, and I picture adding a bright pop of color with a fun crossbody bag!

Two-piece sets have been growing on me, and I love this one. Both pieces would also look cute separate, so there's so many ways to wear them!

This dress is so pretty! I eyed it a few weeks ago when I popped into  J. Crew store, and the lace details are just stunning.

This bathing suit is absolutely adorable. I personally am a fan of two pieces, but I find that some are just too skimpy. I love how the top is similar to a cropped tank top, and the blue stripes?? Perfect.

Have you been loving J. Crew's arrivals?

Alyssa

Fab Friday

Hey everyone and happy Friday! Unfortunately, my spring break is almost over! It has been a nice week, but has still been busy despite having no school. Here's a peek into my week!

one:
Last Friday was the first day of my spring break! My mom and I ventured into Pasadena for the day. We did some shopping (I made an exciting purchase- more on that next week), and we had a tasty lunch at Lemonade. If you're ever in the LA area, make sure to stop by and get the guava limeade- so yum!

two:
One of the stores we popped into last Friday was Anthropologie. They have the cutest items, and I am obsessed with their mugs! I seriously need that "a" mug, and I wouldn't mind having the bottom mug in every color!

three:
I realized that I had never done a "casual wear" outfit post on my blog, so I hope you guys enjoyed the workout inspired outfit! The pullover has seriously been my favorite thing, and I am slowly styling baseball caps for places other than the beach!

I hope you have a nice weekend!
